Our Mission
Lead people to
love God and love people.
Our Calling
Love like Jesus.
Do good together.
Change the world.
Our DNA
01
We are a Jesus-first church.
We believe following Jesus, not just believing in God, makes life better, and makes us better at life. Loving others like Jesus loved us is our goal. We are resurrection people!
02
We don't make it difficult to follow Jesus. The good news is good! Paul's words in the book of Acts remind us to remove every obstacle for people to follow Jesus, through generosity, compassion, and grace.
03
We don't give up influence unnecessarily. Instead of picking sides and taking stands, we sit, listen, and build bridges with conversations. Our mission isn’t to win arguments but to win people.
04
We value going over just knowing. Following Jesus was never meant to stop at knowledge. It’s about action. Following Him means loving, serving, and doing good in the world around us.
05
We are known for what we’re for, not against. For too long, the church has been known for what it’s against. We want to change that. We are for families, for NW Colorado, and for you.
06
We’re all in the same boat.
As real people with messy lives, we are all aware of our shortcomings. We are in this together! We celebrate grace over shame, love over judgment, and progress over perfection.
Steamboat Christian Center is proud to be a Partner Church with the Irresistible Church Network, a global family of churches dedicated to being a church for the unchurched. Our network believes that every community deserves an outward facing church that's committed to reaching people far from God.
Through our partnership, we stay connected to a broader community of leaders, resources, and shared wisdom - all to help us better serve, love, and engage our local community with the life-changing good news of Jesus.
