SCC BOARD OF DEACONS
NOMINEES 2026

Sharon Sexton
Sharon Sexton has lived in Routt County for 50 years and graduated from a local high school. She has been involved in the local church since she was 15, serving in kids, youth, and women’s programs. Sharon and her husband, Jeff, have served in kids’ ministry at SCC for 15 years. For the last 10 years she has also served on missions in Cuba—her true passion, along with serving at SCC. It has been an honor to serve on the Deacon Board, and she would be honored to continue.
Patrick Paroline
Patrick Paroline and his wife, Amy, bought a home in Steamboat Springs in 2016 and began attending Steamboat Christian Center that same year. They moved to Steamboat full-time in 2021 and have two daughters, Drew and Emma. Patrick is a longtime entrepreneur who founded and operated Inyo Pools for 22 years and now owns BOLD Outerwear; Amy owns Three Yellow Dogs. As a family they love travel, snowboarding, volleyball, and animal rescue, and have fostered more than 400 dogs. They served together on a missions trip to Uganda providing clean water. Patrick has served at SCC as an Online Church Host, on the Coffee Team, and with Security. They became SCC Partners in 2022 and seek to live out SCC’s vision by loving God and loving people.

Dara Ricketts
Dara Ricketts and her husband, Justin, have been part of Steamboat Christian Center for over 20 years, and it has become home for them and their two daughters, Kensie and Shian. Over the years Dara has served at the coffee bar, on the Care Team, and currently on the Kids Team at check-in. She loves traveling, especially mission trips that let her serve others and grow in her faith. She is thankful for the friendships, community, and spiritual growth their family has found at SCC and would be honored to give back by serving on the board.
Clif Latiolais
Clif Latiolais moved to Steamboat in late 2019 after retiring from his Denver law practice of 36 years. Although he has no family of his own, he found a home at SCC, where he has been a partner for about five years. He serves in the worship and music tech ministries and volunteers at local schools teaching speech, debate, and mock trial. Clif is honored to be considered for the church board and looks forward to continuing to serve SCC and its members in this new capacity.
